I jus read an article about Guyon Syndrome which is entrapment of the ulnar nerve between bones of the wrist. It causes numbness, pins and needels, weakness, etc. in the ring and pinky fingers. It gets worse when you grasp something hard for an ectended time, like handlebars on a bike. I have had the numbness in the pinky and ring fingers and pain up from wirst to the elbow for many eyars. I also had numbenss in the other fingers. I had carpal tunnel release surgery 6 weeks ago, and had relief, but 304 weeks ago, the numbness has come back intermittently in the pinky and ring finger. I will be seeing my surgeon in 2 months at which time I will see if he can do the Guyon syndrome surgery or if he has other suggestions. I think you probably have he ulnar nerve trpped, compressed or injured. If you would like to read more about this you can go to this website: http://www.handsurgeon.com/guyon.html Good Luck!!!
