I have some similar symptoms that have come and gone for few months. It's a pinching type of pain, sometimes feels like someone is squeezing my heart, usually gets more intense when I breathe in deeper. It feels like an artery is pinched, best way I can describe it. I also have been wondering about this, whether it's a spasm, sort of what it feels like. It's always on the left side, feels deep under the breast. It can be scary, not sure if it's just anxiety. Usually it occurs in the evening, sometimes after I work out, and I am a very athletic person, am 40 and been very cardio involved for 20 years.
