I too have experienced long periods.. A few yrs ago I too was put on provera.. It did stop me.. Then I had fairly normal cycles for awhile.. Skip one here and there and some heavier than others.. Always at least week and 1/2. A couple yrs ago I just couldn t stop and they put me on it again.. It did stop me.. But when I finished the prescription , I had a another heavy period.. Which Dr said was normal.. Now I am on my 3rd week... It is a normal flow just the duration 3rd week... I see its been some time since you posted your inquiry have you found something that helped????
