Enlarged uterus without fibroid symptoms

I saw my ob/gyn for my annual yesterday. He is sending me for an ultrasound because he says I have an enlarged uterus. My periods are not heavy or painful so I don't believe I have fibroids. Also, I had my tubes tied 11 months ago? Any ideas what could be causing the enlargement?
