vaginal and rectal bleeding during period!!..

For as long as I can remember I have had excessive rectal bleeding and vaginal bleeding at the same time during my periods. I never worried about it but for some reason it has just become very worrisome to me. Of course I thought endom,however I just recently had a polyp removed from my uterus but my doctor never said anything to me about have endo. Does anyone have any comments/suggestions on what is going on?!?...I have going to the doctor soon but just need something to ease my mind or to just think about!!!
