A few years ago I was diagnosed with a B12 deficiency and that was when I started getting recurring yeast infections. Again, I have the deficiency and the recurring infections have started up again. My dr. insists that one has nothing to do with the other. After a lot of research, I found out that Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E are suppose to help your body keep the proper ph or whatever you want to call it in the vaginia, therefore helping your body fight the bacterial infections and yeast infections. I have been taking a multivitamin daily along with acidophilus pills and eating a yogurt. Since I started my b12 shots again, the infections seem to be going away. My next step is going to be a few times a week with an additional b complex vitamin and vitamin e. Drs. don't seem to know about this treatment with the vitamins but it's been working. You never know it could help you too.
