sever stomach pains/nausia/irregular periods...

For the last month I have felt tired, sick to my stomach, initially I thought I was pregnant, but then my period began about 1 week early, so I thought I miscarried, my period only lasted for 4 days (usually they are 6), the symptoms were still there, nausia, tired, stomach pains...then this week, I had sever stomach pains, could not eat and another period started which has again only lasted 4 days. The doctor gave me nexium for my stomach, which is not helping, and they are going to do an abdominal u/s. Any ideas?
