Hello. I have a large lump behind my right ear. I was sent to a specialist who told me that it is a swollen Lymph Node and that he has never seen this before in an adult. He also noticed a very tiny discoloured spot just above my ear on scalp. He said it may be malinoma. On Friday,Nov4 they cut out my lymph node -which now the doctor says he doesnt knoe it it was my lymph node now or not because after he froze me..he went in to remove the lump and it was gone so..he had to dig for it to get it out. He said it was filled with fluid? And is not sure now if it was my lymph node or not??!! That freaks me out! The Lump and biopsy have been sent to a lab for testing...I have at least another week to wait for results. Has anyone out there ever heard of this??
