I read your artical regarding your throat problem with great interest an empathy. I have a similar problem and was beginning to wonder whether I was just slightly paranoid before reading this. Over the past year or so I have become more and more aware of the problem. My throat often tightens up, with a feeling as though there is something there causing difficulty with swallowing. It feels almost like there is something trapped at the top of my throat which will not budge. I have also become aware that there are several bumps protruding from the surface of the back of my tongue, wondering whether this was causing the problem. As you said yourself, it isn't a painful feeling, it is just rather uncomfortable. My only worry is that the problem isn't minor and that there could be more severe issues related.
