I have been having the occasional dizzy spell in the shower first thing in the morning (maybe 3 or 4 times in a year). Last week I had a dizzy spell and fainted in the shower. So went to Doctor, did ECG, Urine and blood tests and all were ok.
Doctor thinks its a combination of dehydration ( I know that I dont drink enough water) and getting into shower first thing before really giving the body time to wake up and the blood pools from the brain. Being dehydrated does affect the constituency of your blood. If you are also experiencing dissy spells when exercising my doctor said that there may be restricted blood flow to the brain (so far Im not feeling dizzy when exercising)i.e. some problem with the blood vessels carrying vital oxygen to the brain.
