I have had a cronic cough for 20 years and still can't find a reason. I smoked for 30 years, but have been off them for 10 years. My cough is day and night, so bad sometimes I through up. I have had several test, but noting shows up. The only thing I am asshamed to admit is hydrocodne cough medicine or the pain pills. I'm not adicted to them, I get off of it and stay off for a long time, but after I am off of it for a while my cough gets just as bad. If I didn't work for my husband, I probably couldn't get a job. Please help. Betty
