My family doctor gave me an injection of Lytacane and Celestone-which is some type of steroid in the back of my right knee which had a fatty tumor 3inches in length and about 2 1/2 inches sticking out from the back of my knee. In three weeks it had gone down over half way. Now, from the way it was, it is almost unnoticable. After over two years, I am now wearing shorts and short skirts. He said in the future I might have to have another injection if it starts to get big again. I'm fine totally with that. I hate needles, but I can finally feel like myself again. I had surgery from a specialist for a Baker's Cyst, and it never was one. After two years I had another specialist try and asperate it twice, which I never wanted to go through after the first time. He and another specialist took an MRI and were totally baffled when not a drop of anything came out. The reason was because it was never a Baker's Cyst, and to cover that up when the first doctor did my surgery he removed everything in my knee so no one could prove he had not repaired a tear. This is why the other two specialist couldn't figure it out. They saidthere was nothing left in my knee to repair. Thank God for my family doctor, and please beware, I don't see how I could be the only person who this has been done too. Good luck and God Bless You all!
