I sincerely hope someone has replied to your message. My girlfriend at the age of 44 just died of cancer due to a lump under her arm. I hate to be so drastic, but you really need to follow up with your Dr. 1 out of 8 women will develop breast cancer, according to the news today as of 8/10/2004. I am a cancer survivor at the age of 43, but recently noticed a large lump under my right arm, which has been there for a week and a half. Guess I'm going back to the Dr. as soon as possible. It's scary, but just live one day at a time and take all the necessary steps to ensure your Dr. is up to date and treating you as rapidly as possible.
