Just got back from appointment. Dr performed a physical exam of the neck, as well as a scope through the nose. Pretty weird. Anyway, he said he didn't see anything 'serious' and that the clicking/popping was more the result of the cartilage in the neck coming into contact with each other. He didn't say there was anything that could be done about it and since it doesn't bother me that much, I didn't press it. Good news though is that it does not appear to be a symptom of anything major. I would recommend visiting you local ENT for an exam though.
