I was diagnosed with this problem in the early 70's. I still have abdonminal pain occasionally, but am taking lotromide(sp) to alleviate the abdominal discomfort. I have had 7 children, and I think 3 experience abdominal pain from time to time, usually after eating spicy or highly seasoned foods.
