One always-swollen hand

For years I have been passed from doctor to doctor. I have osteoarthritis with severely affected fingers. However, my right hand for the past year has been swollen to almost double the size of my left. It does not hurt. It is subject to frequent infections. Has anyone an answer for this condition?
