I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and recently start experiencing pains in my hands, specifically my wrists. Over the last few days the pain has moved to my thumb, mainly when the hand is stretched. I have heard that this is common in pregnant women. Any suggestions? What is the cure, will this be a life long battle and turn into something more serious?
