I visited the opthmotology clinic today and underwent several eye tests not to mention a thourough check in my eye by my doctor. She was unable to find any problems with detatched retina or why I have been seeing the lights. She did say that although she did not see anything today, that does not mean she may find a problem next time she sees me in 3 weeks but finds it very unlikely. She did notice excess debris created by the eye lid which causes me to have blurr vision but can be treated by applying a wet rag over my eye in the mornings for a couple of minutes and applying Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment USP .5% at bedtime. The lights have diminished but it is still present but not as often.
