I have two friends with Anaritia. A mother and her son. Her son never let anything stop him from doing what he wanted to do. Then as he got older in his early 30's he went and had laser surgery so he can see clearly and it worked. With this disease the pupil doesn't retract to keep light out so with a special eye lens that acts like an Iris help keep light out. He's always very positive about life and doesn't let this bother him. His mother now is 67 years old and has the anaritia with macular degeneration. Which does not help I might add. She can still see but if she hadn't gotten M.D. she could see a lot better. And she never lets anything get in her way either. There are other issues that can develop with Anaritia. Just make sure he gets checked with his eye doctor more often. Don't let anything or anyone ever stop you from doing what you want to do. Positive attitude can work wonders. Barb
