Enlarged hearts can be common with heart disease. The tissue in the heart seems to be getting thicker which in then makes blood-flow harder to move throughout the body. Normally you can take a heart muscle thinner specialized to keep the muscle from building around the heart. I am sure the doctor told the father to exercise lightly, moderately, for the heart cardio. Dont ever overdue it, but enough to make the heart pump a little bit, like a nice long walk, small jog for not a long time. that will at least keep the blood flowing throughout, without putting way too much pressure on the heart and over exert.
