I have these sharp pains in the middle of my chest, they come and go....with out warning. I was diagnosed with GERD about 3 years ago, this maybe what you have. Does your stomach get sore? As if, you did 500 crunches? especially after eating and last for 12 hrs? I hope this helps. I would recommend seeing a Gastro Doctor abd havinga scope done, just in case.
