I have been getting extremely sharp,piercing pains shooting through my mid-left chest. It very painful to take a deep breath. Almost as if someone was poking a needle into a voodoo doll of me (not that I believe in that) This happens once in a great while to I never thought much of it. However this weekend it has lasted much longer than normal and has yet stopped. It start mid-day on Sat and I am still having extreme pain. Very difficult to sleep with such pain. It hurts sometimes to breathe in deep. It's really starting to concern me & I don't want to spend money I don't have at the doctor's office if I'm overreacting. Please let me know if u know what might be going on.
