My symptoms are similar, but on my right side, just under my ribs. My discomfort has lasted for years. I have had several upper GI's, ultra sounds, x-rays, all negative..I'm scheduled to have a "hide-a scan", to see if my gall bladder is diseased. I'm begining to think I'm having "phantom pains"...the docs probably think so too.
