I have read several postings here on the forum and have found not that quite match my issues. I am 47, must admit that I am not so bright because I smoke, drink coffee (caffinated) and am a little over weight. I am 5-10 and about 195 lbs. When 3 years old had a padenductus. until the last 2 years or so have been very helthy with no problems other than occasional heartburn. In the last two years though I have been experiencing severe heartburn and pains in my chest (mostly right side) either directly under the right brest or what feels to be muscle. This pain often seems to radiate to the equal spot on my back as if I had been pierced with a daggar. Occasionally i will have the same sensation on the left side as well and sometimes it feels to be under my right armpit. I went to my family doctor and they ran a battery of tests and found nothing including ekg eeg (I think) a stress test and hooked me up to a 24 hour monitor. They found nothing. The have ran several tests on my thyroid again nothing and one set of xrays showed a spot on one lung but they ex rayed again a year later and there was nothing there. can anyone help? The pain is not disabeling but bothersome and worrisome. Help!!!
