Well I certainly hope you are still alive. Considering I am now responding to an unanswered post from 2003. Because those symptons "scream" heart attack. I think maybe one of the most distinct characteristics that you should look for are the pain lasting for an average of 15 mins give or take. Also if you can get your hands on some nitroglyceran tablets you should take 1 at a time in 5 minute intervals until you can contact a doctor or get to an emergency room. Also you could also try aspirin, however if you want immediated relief you need to avoid the placebo affect at all costs in this case and chew the aspirin so it will work faster in your system. If you are allergic to aspirin DO NOT take it. Try not to wait for more than fifteen minutes if this event ever occurs because you could be at serious risk in doing damage to your heart. This probably wont help you much, but lets hope this information will help others if needed.
