I'm having a similar problem. About 4 days ago, I began to experience severe pain in the left side of my chest near my heart. I finally went to the doctor and they did an EKG, chest x-ray and CT scan. Everything came back normal. I was given pain meds and told to come back in a week. The pain is really bad when I lie down or cough, breathe deep or laugh. Is this a pulled chest muscle?
