I have been experiencing the same thing lately. I first experienced this heart fillerting, shortness of breath, chest pain 5 years ago when my aunt died. Every now and then I would feel it (only at night when I tring to rest). My grandmother just past away and I thought I was fine, but only after 2 months of her death this feeling came back. I've been through emergency and all of my test came back negative. I'm now being tested for Thyroids. This is very sickening and stressful not knowing what is wrong.
