17 year old with chest pain

I am a 17-year-old girl who has been having chest pains for several years now. They occur ramdomly, when I am at rest or sometimes alseep. It is a squeezing or stabbing pain, usually on the left side of my chest, and it sometimes spreads to my left arm or jaw. It becomes difficult to breathe during these episodes, and they are becoming more frequent and starting to inturupt my daily life. If anyone has information about what this might be, please post.
