Hi I was also told that I have acid relux, but I get shooting pains all over the place; not just in my throat or chest. This usually happens right after I lie down; so I suppose that it is relux. The last "attack" that I had, started with a pain that was in the "roof" of my mouth and almost followed my sinuses. Eventually, it went under my breast bone and that's where it stayed. I have had pain in the past in my throat, shoulder and a few times, I had the sweats so bad that I thought I was having a heart-attack. I'm suppose to go back to my gastrointerologist next month and he is going to schedule me for the "scope". I've been taking Nexium for over a year, but I don't think it's helping much anymore.
