I'm 22, and I have similar symptoms like your daughter's. I have also taken all the available heart tests, and all my tests were also clean. However, my hands and arm does not numb, and my doctor told me that numbing can of those body parts can be due to shingles. Shingles is the reactivation of chicken pox. But if she doesn't have any rashes, then I guess you can rule out shingles. The doctor also told me that my shortness of breath can be totally pshychological and has recommended me to calm down, and tell myself that there is nothing wrong with my breathing when i'm feeling short of breath. Surprisingly, this method works for me, and my shortness of breath does succumb once I calm myself down. One last thing, your daughter may have passed out b/c of her CO2 level dropping too low while she was short of breath. Next time, have her breath into a paper bag. Best wishes.
