Was Admitted to A&E with central chest pain Although reflux esophogusitis was a possiblility a cardiac problem had to be aliminated. an angiogram was suggested to look at the coronary arteries . a narrowing in one of my arteries was causing the pain. A procedure called an angioplasty was performed to widen the artery with inflating a ballon to insert a stent. the access to the artery was in the groin, although quite painless, some sensation could be felt and the whole procedure was done in around 1 hour
