I just ran across this post. I am a 25 year old female and am experiencing a very similar problem. Sharp almost "stabbing" pains under my left breast. They only last for probably 30 seconds (at the most). I can't take a normal breath when they are occuring. I have to take small short breaths until it goes away. I have been experiencing this for a few years, but recently it has been occuring almost daily. I was wondering if anyone has seen a doctor about this or knows what might be the problem. I am going to the doctor this week, but I just want to be prepared. Thanks!!
