shortness in breath/chest pain

I've recently have many episodes of breathing difficulty, (mostly after I eat). During the episodes, I feel as if I'm not getting enough air. The attacks do not seem to be life threatening, but it has gotten very annoying. I also have very slight left chest pain, and I think it's starting to spread towards my stomach. I've been to the doctor, and I don't have a blood clot, and oxygen level is fine. If you know anything about this, please respond. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
