Hi. I have the same thing. A month ago I had a major panic attack and thought i was kicking the bucket. I went to the ER, had 2 EKG's, blood work, chest and back xrays and a mitral valve prolapse test. Negative. I even had an upper GI and they just found a "small" hiatil hernia. But, I have been getting those sharp, pinching chest pains too. Mostly in the middle of my chest but radiating to the left side. And then when I eat I get a burning sensation. Sometimes I don't even have to eat and I will get it anyway - AND I take a Pepcid AC! I don't know what it is either but it is very uncomfortable and I hate feeling like this too. You feel like you can't do anything like exercise or exert yourself. I am only 35 and this has been going on for a month now. I want some relief. My doctor put me on Protonix and Tagamet but those made things worse. I don't really want to be on meds but I want this to go away!!!
