I am a 16 year old female and i just got back from the doctor because i had chest pains for about 2 years and they happen everyday now. There like a sharp pain(like someone is stabbing you)and the cardiologist checked me out and she is pretty sure that it is not my heart. "Very concerned 20 year old", you are still young and it is unlikely that it could be your heart,but go to the doctor anyways. They will just give you some tests and they dont hurt. What may be wrong with you is you may have inflammation of the joint or muscle. If that's the case than you will take something like ibuprofen. I think that eventually over time the pain will go away. Good luck!
