I am a 37 yr. old mother of two children and have had no problems with shooting pains in both breasts until recently. It happens sparadically day or evening and even when I am at my most relaxed. I can be sitting down or laying in bed and during a breath in it will feel like a shooting pain in my left breast (or right) and shoot from the bottom left up into the breast. If it begins on right (or left side) it will continue on that side for 10 minutes at times. I can have no pains for a few days and then have it occur out of the blue. I have wrote down the times as I wanted to see if it was occuring during pre menstrual (two weeks before my period would start) It is very scarey as in my mind I know it can't be heart related as its happening on both sides of the breast. But I also have had heart disease/heartattack in the family. Jana
