I have normal blood pressure and pulse rates, am an SLE patient with GERD and suffer from chest pain. I have had a cardiac and gastro workup yet the chest pain recurs often despite medication and adjustment of diet. When the chest pain occurs it is accompanied by radiating pain to jaw and back, occasionally the left arm as well. My blood pressure average is 110/70 and my pulse is a steady 80 almost always, even after exertion. I am an SLE (lupus) patient and have fibromyalgia as well as a mitral and pulmonic valve prolapse with regurgitation. What is the chance of having a heart attack when blood pressure is so well maintained?
