I was told to get to the doctor's ASAP because I was having chest pains with pain shooting through my shoulders, my arm and caused my right eye to be blurry. My right arm was also numb. It has been going on for a few weeks, getting worse. This happened about three years ago, and I was told "Oh, it's probably acid reflux." and they gave me pills for that. Now it has started again but on a regular basis. I don't feel it's acid reflux and told them some, but again, given pills for it. What I want to know does acid reflux cause your arm to go numb (sometimes my left arm goes numb or aches) does it cause pain in your shoulders, your face? Does it affect your eyes?? I do not have any heartburn and the chest pain is extremely uncomfortable and even my back hurts. I am a 45 year old woman. Thanks for any feedback.
