When I was 14 I had open heart surgery to repair an Atrial Septal Defect along with Partial Pulmonary Venous Return. Now at 21, my echocardiogram showed I had a Mitral Valve leak, although it is a small leak. My advice is to repair the leak if you are having symptoms and if you need some encouraging words, just e-mail me at [email protected]
