I replied to someone else not so long ago saying that anyone with chest pain needs to get it checked out. It may be something, it may be nothing but you cannot afford to take the risk.
Without insurance, is there any doctor you can go to? Even if you have to pay it shouldn't cost too much for a basic physical examination to assess your vital signs (heart sounds, heart rate and rhythm, pulses, breathing, and blood pressure). An EKG would probably be a good idea too, but at least get a basic exam.
It's an impossible thing to put a cost on our health (and peace of mind), but we are forced to do so. Sometimes though, our health must come first - try and find a way to make that happen.
Good luck
