I have had mitral valve prolapse all my life. Only recently, it has caused a slight enlargement of the left ventrical. In addition, they beleive it is reponsible for my blindness in my right eye, due to calcium breking off from the valve and traveling to the optic nerve where it stopped circulation. I have been hospitalized many times due to the arrythmia that is a result of MVP. I don't have any words of wisdom for you but keep your chin yup.
