My mum for the last 2 years has had the very same problem. Her pain is in her mid-back and partly right side which goes through to her middle chest. She takes pain killers to ease the pain, and uses a hot pillow on her back to give some relief. Her doctor has said that she has some form of artheritis in her back, and basically that's all he has said. She like you when the pain gets un-bearable goes to A+E only to be told her heart is healthy. Any further comments would be grateful.
