Almost paralyzing chest pains, numbness on the left side

I am 16 years old and I've been getting this horrible chest pains for about 5 years. My dad thought it was just muscle spazams but I don't think so. I almost always get them while I'm resting. And alot if Im laughing really hard. The pain starts at my "heart" then radiates to my shoulder, neck and lower back. It's all on the left hand side though. It will never go past my spine. If they get really bad the pain will go all the way to my fingertips and toes. The worst part is I can't move. Well I can, but it hurts too much. It can't be something as serious as a heart attack or I'd be dead already. I've had hundreds! Thanks for the help
