Soldier Boy,
Sounds to me life you're doing everything that should be done. If the doc's are given you the green light and you've had a few good opinions, well, they may be right.
If it's any comfort, I have the same thing and have since I was 26. I am now 36 and still kicking. I got the "all clear" from the doc's too. I still get the damn thing once in a while.
Quite possibly it is due to your diet. I continuously see posts from people who experience chest pains with digestive problems. There is a connection. I know that my pains get worse if I don't watch my diet.
My doc told me my pains were what he called, "Silicon Valley Chest Pains." It's a tongue in cheek way of saying, "big job, big responsibilities, big mortgage, big stress = chest pains." I didn't take his advice so I booked some time with a very reputable cardiologist who essentially said the same thing.
I also have a history of heart issues in my family plus a murmer in childhood. So, I had a heightened sense of urgency to the matter.
If all checks out with the heart then I would start looking closely at your diet. I would advise to start a journal to track what you eat, drink, and any digestive issues you may have.
I can also save you some time by recommending that you give up caffeine now. It always comes back to being a problem. I have reduced beer considerably and replaced with red wine (wasn't easy but...). Give up any fast food. They don't call it junk food for nothin'.
Best of luck.
