recently abnormal cycle

My cycle has always been regular and then out of the blue it suddenly went from a 28 to a 23 and has stayed consistent for some reason. I have had some minor gyn problems in the not so distant past and my concern is that I'm trying to get pregnant with my second child but don't know if I should discuss this with my ob/gyn or is this just somewhat normal for a 24 yr old woman?!!!
