There are many reasons why women may have abnormal or heavy bleeding. It could be due to hormonal problem or other health conditions both normal and abnormal e.g.problems linked to some birth control methods such as (a) intrauterine devices (IUDs) or birth control pills; (b)Infection of uterus or cervix; (c) uterine fibroids; (d) cancer of uterus, cervix or vagina;& (e)chronic medical problems (e.g. hyperthyroidism and diabetes) You should consult your doctor as he/she would be able to diagnose your problem properly...good luck!!!
