mid month bleeding

I am currently taking Ortho Novum, and for the past 4 consecutive months, I've had a week of mid-month bleeding, and when my normal period comes, it's a lot heavier than it used to be. I've been on these pills for 4 years, but haven't had any problems until now. Could any of these things affect this: I'm in a LOT better shape--lost about 15 pounds in 6 months, changed to a healthier diet, and work out often. I've also experienced acne, which I haven't had in almost 8 years! Can someone help? please email [email protected] if you can. I'm really starting to get frustrated with this.
